Commissioned in 2001,
Kavosh Kar Madan is one of the most modern zinc smelters in the region
.Enjoying its equipped laboratory , K.K.M. produce high quality zinc slabs.
Early 2002 , K.K.M. Produced its first jumbos (1 ton zinc blocks ) to meet the
needs of large capacity users.
Galvanizing is the largest and
growing market of K.K.M. Other zinc customers are in precision die-casting of
parts for the automotive industry , brass , zinc oxide for use in rubber
products and zinc sheet for battery can applications .
K.K.M. Produce zinc slabs ( 23 kg
) and zinc jumbos ( 1 ton ) of high grade purity , which conform to appropriate
ASTM . Slabs packages contain of 40 slabs and 4 footplates packed with
galvanized steel strip . Each bundle weights 1000 +/- 50 kgs . Both slabs bundle
and jumbo ingots are suitable for handling by lift-truck and overhead cranes.
By locating in Qazvin
industrial area , K.K.M. is close to Iran’s zinc concentrate and energy supplies
, and also best facilities of delivery to customers in and outside of country .
Shipment is done by trucks or in containers according to customer request.
